Assembly Technician

Contact Control Interfaces is a company developing technologies that enable natural feeling interactions via their proprietary haptic systems. We are currently looking to hire an eager individual with an entrepreneurial mindset looking to bring success to our growing company.

Contact CI is looking for a detail oriented assembly technician to own the assembly of their Maestro line of haptic products. This role requires care and attention to assembly of top-of-the-line haptic products. This role offers an opportunity to own the scaling and leading of the assembly process with the growth of the company over time.

  • Assembly of Maestro line of haptic gloves.
  • Repair of Maestro as needed.
  • QA of Maestro products to company standards.
  • Coordinate shipping and assembly logistics with other Contact CI facilities and other members of product assembly team.
  • Keeping inventory of production related components.
  • Audit and offer suggestions on changes to current assembly process.
  • If appropriate, develop IP around aspects of the assembly process.
  • Submit ordering requests to department head.
  • Maintenance of assembly equipment.
  • Experience running an assembly process that is consistent, scalable, and repeatable.
  • Experience conducting hardware QA.
  • Experience recording and documenting processes for relay and record keeping.
Strongly Preferred:
  • An eye for scaling processes with company growth.
  • Takes instruction well but will lead themselves on a day-to-day.
  • Electrical design software.
  • Quick learning and curious.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Track record of diving into the unknown and coming out successful.
  • Soldering both THT and SMD components.
  • 3D printing and 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of immersive technologies.
